What is your company background, how did you start the business? Who are the owners?
“PureSaffrona’s owner Mehdi comes from a family of farmers and teachers in the north eastern part of Iran where 95% of the world’s saffron – up to 300 tons per year – is grown. Mehdi’s family owns Novin Saffron, the largest and most innovative saffron producer in the world. In 1998, they were the first in the world to receive HACCP certification for saffron, then in 2001, became the first in the world to receive ISO 14001 certification in the field of saffron. I’m very excited to bring this business to New Zealand and Australia. I guarantee you won’t find saffron of this quality at a better price. What is the current product range and variants and how do these products stand out in the market?

What are the plans for the business moving forward, is there any expansion on the horizon?
“We plan to introduce our medicinal organic saffron to chain organic supermarkets in Australia, US and Europe. Our next product that we are going to introduce to the market is Fresh Iranian Dates.”
