Little 'Lato, New Zealand's most awarded gelateria, has announced that it will be opening two brand-new beachside parlours this spring.
The new openings will include Orewa Beach (8B Moana Avenue), opening Saturday the 3rd of October, with 26 flavours scooping at any time, including 13 vegan.
Another new parlour with a sunny outdoor courtyard out back will open at Milford Beach (120 Kitchener Road) on Saturday, the 10th of October, with 36 flavours, including 13 vegan ones.
Little ‘Lato was born from founder Hannah Wood’s dream to bring people together over gelato made the real way a craft she learned in Italy and now has grown into a little but loved brand that’s infused with curiosity, joy and a dash of cheeky fun.
Wood trained at Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna and has continued to hand-craft every batch in small 10–20L runs in Auckland, from a bank of over 550 original flavours. Grounded in Italian craft and served with joy, every scoop is made to lift the day.
