The opening date of American actor Mark Wahlberg's burger joint in Auckland, Wahlburgers, has been delayed until late February.
Originally set to open in November, Wahlburgers experienced significant shipping delays of essential equipment from the United States.
According to United Cinemas, the Australian and New Zealand partner of Wahlburgers, the burger joint is still waiting on shipment containers that were expected to arrive before Christmas.
The Auckland Wahlburgers will open by Auckland's Princes Wharf.
In April-May, Kiwis can expect another Wahlburgers location in Queenstown's Upper Village. A Tauranga location is also in the works for 2023.
