Originally from Italy, Carlo Olla is the man to see at Captain's bar.
Having worked in the industry for six years, Olla began working in a club with little experience or knowledge. Despite this, he enjoyed the culture and environment of the upbeat atmosphere, particularly watching the other bartenders entertain the customers.
Olla saw this as more than just an opportunity to bartend but to meet people and travel to exciting places worldwide. Above all, Olla recognises the importance of creating a desirable experience for the customer, as when they are happy, he reaps the rewards of positive connection.
"I have a party vibe; I love bringing out flaring tricks to wow the customers. It comes down to engaging with the customers and providing a surprise element," said Olla.
More than just a bartender, Olla spends his spare time cooking. Equally, Olla prioritises his mental health and seizes the opportunity to be exposed to diverse cultures.
"I've accomplished some of my dreams of travelling from city to city and experiencing various cultures and people," said Olla.
