The culinary landscape of Auckland Airport has a new feature with the opening of Wayfarer, a comfortable cafe offering the best of New Zealand produce. The cafe serves EightThirty coffee, craft beers, local wine and fresh food.
“There are different types of travellers with distinct needs, and Wayfarer caters to them all,” said Ben Blair, Spotless Senior Retail Operations Manager. “Whether it is a large group wanting to settle in before they depart, or a corporate traveller grabbing a quick coffee on their way to a meeting, we have them covered.”
The cafe will also be on the cutting edge of technology, with food-ordering apps allowing busy travellers to order ahead.
