A fire at the Tekapo Tavern and Reflections Restaurant building has caused significant internal and external damage. Fire and Emergency Services (FENZ) were called to the scene at around 1 pm on Sunday, where they were able to control the blaze around 3 pm.
The FENZ said that the fire had started outside of the building and spread inside, although the exact cause of the fire is unknown.
