Bakealicious by Gabriela is a boutique cake shop located in Forestville, Sydney, which has previously attracted the taste buds of big stars such as Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles. The shop has yet again added another name to its list of illustrious customers.
Ed Sheeran admired Bakealicious cakes so much that he ordered even more the following day.
With a flurry of activity surrounding the city, and the world's biggest pop-star about to take to the stage, Bakealicious has confirmed it will be baking for none other than Taylor Swift.
"The cake we made for Tay Tay represents everything Bakealicious is about - handmade with quality ingredients - we combined Taylor's favourites Milk Bar Store Cake and our traditional Chilean Mil Hojas and Dulce de Leche Cake. It's finished off with puff pastry horns filled with Dulce de Leche buttercream. Then sprinkled with pastel glitters and the final touch a purple flower,(Taylor's favourite colour)," said Gabriela Oporto, baker and founder at Bakealicious.
"Whether, like Ed, Taylor will order more of the same desserts the following day we don't know. What we know is that this patisserie has captivated the hearts and taste buds of those who can genuinely appreciate the intricacies of traditional old-fashioned baking, including superstars."
Oporto said she starts by whisking the eggs and beating the butter, using only the best of ingredients.
"I am so proud and grateful that all three superstars enjoy our beautiful desserts."
