Having been in the hospitality industry for half her life, mom of two, Brijana “Bree” Bauer has always enjoyed meeting and interacting with new people.
She started as a drinker of mocha with two sugars, and now she is a true long black girl who needs a caffeine fix at least thrice a day, switching it up with an oat milk flat white every weekend.
Bauer’s love for coffee sparked when she worked at a cafe in Auckland CBD, and now, as the owner of Ol’Mate, she loves making coffee for customers and making them feel at home.
With good vibes all around, Ol’Mate is unlike any other cafe. It is a bright yellow caravan with an outdoor seating area and music, making it hard to miss. Bauer believes that consistency is vital and that your coffee should always be as good as the last time.
