Kiwis will soon be able to get their hands on KFC and Taco Bell while at Sylvia Park, with Kiwi Property announcing it is bringing the popular food brands to New Zealand’s largest shopping centre.
The new restaurants, currently under construction, will be situated in the ‘Cone’ precinct near Hoyts Cinema, a high-profile location that includes retailers such as Culture Kings, JD Sport and Hype.
Kiwi Property’s GM Income and Leasing, Aubrey Cheng, said the company is excited to bring both KFC and Taco Bell to Sylvia Park, adding to the shopping centre’s retail mix.
“We are pleased to partner with Restaurant Brands and welcome the addition of KFC and Taco Bell to the many great food & beverage choices on offer at Sylvia Park.
“At Kiwi Property we actively seek new and exciting brands – KFC is well-loved by Kiwis and Taco Bell has been a fan favourite ever since it opened its first New Zealand store at The Brickworks in LynnMall in 2019.
“Both restaurants are hugely successful, iconic brands that fit the centre’s customer and retail mix; we know they will bring a new and exciting experience to Sylvia Park.”
Restaurant Brands NZ CEO Arif Khan added that the company is thrilled to be working with Kiwi Property again and is looking forward to opening the new restaurants at one of Auckland’s most popular shopping destinations.
“Kiwis are huge fans of both KFC and Taco Bell, and we’re pleased they’ll soon be able to tuck into their favourites off the menu – like KFC’s Wicked Wings or Taco Bell’s tacos – while enjoying the many retail and entertainment offerings at Sylvia Park.”
