Kiwi sisters Julia & Libby, sharing the same love of everything that nourishes the body, mind and soul, had changed their way of eating from processed to wholefoods five years ago, and they never went back. This cookbook is based on their diet and shows how consuming the right type of food can positively impact everyone’s life, giving them more energy throughout the day.
“To us, health and wellness is vitally important. Your body is actually craving nutrients. The right diet is a powerful prescription for better health, and wholefoods are foods that are closest to their natural state, which means they deliver us more nutrients than packaged or processed foods,” they said.
Both specialising in naturopathy and nutrition, the Matthews’ sisters have built a strong fan base of 45,000 followers on Facebook and 40,000 on Instagram. Most of their recipes are gluten and dairy free, but there also plenty of vegetarian options. One chapter, ‘The importance of wholefoods’, focuses on nutrition and explains the importance of vitamins and minerals.
