Domino’s unveils summer menu

Domino’s has announced its summer menu launch, with a bigger selection of sides and fresh new sauces and crusts to launch the ‘Official Pizza of Summer’ campaign. The new menu will be introduced in two phases, with the first phase already underway.

Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said the new summer menu launch will take customers’ choice of food to a new level.

“Summer is all about capturing moments in time—whether that be holidays with the family, Christmas parties, New Years’ celebrations, hangovers, beach trips—memories that will last a lifetime,” Knight said. “This summer Domino’s is looking forward to being part of the unforgettable spirit of summer and giving Kiwi’s the most delicious and biggest menu ever.”

Domino’s global development chef, Michael Treacy has been working tirelessly with food producers and suppliers to find the best products to create and refine recipes to deliver the greatest and most unique flavours for pizza-loving customers.

“For years we have been working on our recipes to create bold, exciting and authentic sauces to really work in with our pizza, sides and dessert ideas,” said the Domino’s head chef. “We are so proud to be giving New Zealand consumers the very best in food innovation during a time when we all come together to celebrate all that summer has to offer.”

Three new sauces have also been created; Blazin’ BBQ, Damn Fine Jalapeño and and Da’ Bomb, a creamy, spicy tomato sauce to accompany Domino’s popular chicken wings.

Following the success of the Philly Cheese Steak range, the new pizza additions will include BBQ Steak and Bacon, Korean BBQ Steak, succulent Garlic Chicken and Bacon Ranch, Chipotle Steak, and the ultimate hybrid pizza Garlic Bread Crust due early 2019.

A special menu item has been added just for Domino’s Kiwi customers, with the addition of Kumara Fries to the new summer menu.
