Bourbon Parade to Open in Las Vegas

Bourbon Parade, the high-energy bar experience paying homage to the rich history, culture, music and spirit of New Orleans, opens to the public on Thursday, October 19th, at 4 p.m. Located on the Las Vegas Strip at the Grand Bazaar Shops, the first-of-its-kind destination will feature free live New Orleans music all day, every day; a cocktail program deeply rooted in NOLA heritage; and a lively, “come-as-you-are” atmosphere celebrating New Orleans’ beloved traditions.

Inspired by the celebrations in the French Quarter, Bourbon Parade will feature daily second-line parades – a marching house brass band led by an over-the-top grand marshal who amasses a following of onlookers-turned-participants dancing, waving handkerchiefs and twirling parasols, that grows by the minute. The second-line parades will commence every 90 minutes, and bystanders are always encouraged to join. Guests can reserve their own parade to celebrate any occasion, from weddings to bachelor and bachelorette parties, divorces, anniversaries, birthdays and more.

"Bourbon Parade not only brings the best of New Orleans culture to Las Vegas but also creates the ultimate fun-loving experience, where guests won’t be able to resist joining in the energetic parades, singing, dancing and partying,” said Jason Boso, founder, Bourbon Parade.

To preserve genuine aspects of New Orleans' locality and culture, Bourbon Parade teamed up with some of NOLA's finest musicians this summer to host auditions and conduct intensive training in jazz and swing styles from the Big Easy. Comprising three to six instruments at any given time, the venue’s house players have been rehearsing for months, including drummers, trombonists, tubists, saxophonists, trumpeters and more. Alongside carefully curated house players, special guest musicians will be featured regularly.

Bourbon Parade will pour an array of signature cocktails, including Mardi Gras Punch, Hurricane, Louisiana Margarita, New Orleans Frozen Irish Coffee, Purple Drank and other tempting surprises. Patrons can also experience unique libations, such as the world-famous Dreamsicle Fizz, made with Gator Bite Satsuma Rum, vanilla vodka, Cointreau, orange juice, simple syrup and egg white shaken vigorously in a Crawley’s Imperial Cocktail Shaker, inspired by 18th-century hand-cranked shakers. The mixture is poured over sparkling brut to produce an effervescent cocktail, which is then topped by an irresistible egg white foam, or “fizz.” Bourbon Parade’s Dreamsicle Fizz takes inspiration from the Ramos Gin Fizz, which was created in the 1880s by Henry Ramos and served at The Old Hickory in New Orleans. On this and other select bar drinks topped with edible foam, guests have the ability to order custom-printed images for an additional charge.

Various hand-crafted artistic elements further enhance Bourbon Parade’s appealing, NOLA-influenced ambience. Artists worldwide put their mark on the space through custom-designed, handmade tap handles, New Orleans-style hand-painted signs, curated vintage jazz posters, artwork, photography, and more.

Bourbon Parade offers private and semi-private event spaces for private and corporate events. Second-line parades are also available to perform at special occasions at the venue and beyond.
