BAILEY’S FUDGE KITCHEN

With three generations of confectionery and fudge making in their blood, the team at Bailey’s Fudge Kitchen are now bringing that wealth of experience and knowledge to market through their beautiful flavours of handmade fudge. They spoke to the team about their business.

What is your company background, how did you start the business?

“Our background is confectionery manufacturing and baking, which goes back three generations. Current owners are Reuben and Jinny Stewart, who also started the business from past industry experience.”

What is the current product range and variants and how do these products stand out in the market?

“Our current product range consists of a 30+ flavour range of gluten free handmade fudges.”

Has there been any recent company news?

“Recently accepted as a vendor into Foodstuffs, we now proudly have our products on display at New World Thorndon. We have also recently launched a new Pineapple and Chocolate Fudge, which has proven to be a great hit with Kiwis.”

What are the plans for the business moving forward, is there any expansion on the horizon?

“There is constant expansion for our business, with new re-sellers joining up weekly. We are also actively involved in the corporate gift industry, and have a diverse range of products to offer to any retail outlets to add to their range.”

Where are your products currently available to buy, and are you looking at or wanting to expand your availability?

“Our products are currently available in multiple Paper Plus outlets nationwide, along with select florists and gift shops. New World Thorndon also has a large stand of our fudges on display. We constantly welcome new distributors/re-sellers who would like to stock and sell our fudges, however we do respect all current stockists and each request will be considered on a case-by-case scenario based mainly on location.”
