Bacardi Limited Announces Regional Leadership Moves

The largest privately held spirits company in the world, Bacardi Limited, has announced the retirement of Francis Debeuckelaere, its Regional President of Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

After nearly 30 years with Bacardi, Debeuckelaere will retire from his role at the end of the fiscal year, on March 31st, 2023. He plans to move to a consulting capacity within the company in order to support the transition and provide an expert viewpoint on company initiatives.

From his first role in the company as a local marketing director in 1994, to commercial market cluster management, and ultimately regional president, his passion has always been at the forefront of his work. Debeuckelaere said that he is proud of what he has been able to accomplish with the company, and that he can see the brand staying around for generations to come.

Bacardi CEO, Mahesh Madhavan has expressed that his contribution to the company has been considerable.

Bacardi was founded more than 161 years ago in Santiago de Cuba. The brand is comprised of more than 200 labels and produces spirits, wine, and beer in more than 170 countries worldwide.
