Absolut has launched a spiced tribute to its Swedish roots - Absolut Extrakt. The bold, yet flavourful spirit drink combines vodka with the warm, spiced flavour of green cardamom.
The new Absolut flavour is a well-balanced mix of juicy, fruity flavours with a slight sweetness and a spicy kick. A unique taste profile, Absolute Extrakt offers a smooth, high-quality spirit that is smooth to drink without being too sweet.
For hundreds of years, Swedes have been infusing alcohol with spices, herbs and plant extracts. The spirit it created was most often sipped neat or, as Swedes would refer to it, as a ‘snaps’.
Best enjoyed neat and chilled, or in a long drink with tonic, sparkling water or ginger beer, Absolute Extrakt celebrates this Swedish tradition by creating a modern take on the traditional ‘snaps’.
