Former staff of the Asian-inspired Wagamama’s chain are said to be owed thousands of dollars following the company’s receivership last month. According to the general manager of the Wellington restaurant, Soraya Edwards, staff were owed a combined total of over $50,000 in holiday pay, bonuses and wages.
Although staff have worked together to apply for the money they are owed, Edwards is not confident that they will ever see their money.
