Norway is set to receive a breathtaking architectural construction from which guests will be able to sip on a coffee and watch whales migrate.
Located 300km north of the Arctic Circle, in Andenes, the building aptly named ‘The Whale’ will house cafés, exhibition spaces, offices and a store.
The building itself is set to be a feat of engineering and architecture, created to look as though it is growing out of the landscape. Visitors will also be able to walk on top of the building to get an unparalleled view of the ocean, mountains, or Northern Lights.
Construction is expected to finish in 2022.
