Head chef and founder of Brooklyn eatery Manila Social Club, Bjorn DelaCruz, has received a lot of press about his latest addition to the menu, a $100 doughnut. The Golden Cristal Ube Doughnut is filled with ube (purple yam) mousse and champagne jelly and is iced with frosting made with Cristal and smothered in 24-karat gold.
