Peroni’s involvement in this year’s Land Rover NZ Polo Open is expected to be a hit, both on and off the field. Peroni’s polo team is playing for the title, and their entertainment team is providing an area from which guests can view the sport.
The Peroni-sponsored team consists of highly experienced players including Craig Wilson, Tommy Wilson, James Worker, and Lachie Gilmore. Admir Mullaaliu said, “Dating back to 1963, Peroni is a brand steeped in tradition—and with polo thought to be one of the oldest and most prestigious sports in the world, we’re excited to be aligning with the Land Rover NZ Polo Open to celebrate the tradition of this sport in a modern context.”
The Peroni Lawn will be leading the charge off the field, offering premium viewing areas, as well as acting as the main bar for finals day.
The Land Rover NZ Polo Open is set to be held at the Auckland Polo Club in Clevedon on Saturday the 23rd of February, 2019.
