In a single week, Havana Coffee Works has avoided sending 1,422 takeaway coffee cups to landfill since launching their returnable cup library!
Through the months of October and November, Havana is also donating to charities chosen by their café partners each time a customer borrows a cup. In the last week, they’ve raised over $700 for Wellington Children’s Hospital, Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Cranford Hospice in the East Coast and others.
Participating Havana cafés are not only doubling down on sustainable habits, but they are also contributing to their local community.
