The second annual ‘Meet The Makers’ at The Hunting Lodge is set to kick-off this week, offering guests the chance to dine and socialise under the stars.
With a four-course meal designed by Des Harris, attendees will have the chance to meet artisan food producers from the area and learn about the best ways to incorporate seasonal produce into a menu or meal.
Producers attending the event include Kaipara lamb & Kaipara oysters, Whangaripo Buffalo Co., Massimo’s Italian cheeses, Mincher Gardens, and Rydenberry Blueberries. Manufacturers will be sitting amongst the guests, sharing their knowledge and stories. The Hunting Lodge’s chefs, winemakers and gardeners will also be there, providing local knowledge about the products they make onsite.
