Good harvest sets up best Stonyridge Larose vintage ever

Auckland’s long and dry summer has produced one of the best Stonyridge Larose vintages in recent memory. Martin Pickering, Stonyridge winemaker, and Stephen White, Stonyridge founder, believe that the 2019 grape harvest is potentially the most bountiful in terms of both volume and quality. Stonyridge assures customers that may have missed out last year that stock should be plentiful in esteemed locations across the local market, and the rest of the world.

Pickering said, “The wines show a depth, intensity and colour that we see in the greatest of vintages in the world with a tannin structure that is remarkable.”

Additionally, White said, “We have the weather gods to thank for this year’s harvest, which exceeded expectation and means we’re likely to deliver our best quality vintage ever.”

Stonyridge’s Larose has an extensive, and elite list of fans and customers. This includes European royalty, Michelin-starred restaurants and Hollywood celebrities.
