Iconic brand Dunkin’ Donuts plans to introduce its Beyond Sausage Sandwich across its 9000 USA locations early next month.

Just a few months on from the tests, the chain has thrilled free-from customers with the addition of a quality meat-alternative to its menu. Dunkin’ said that the sandwich was incredibly popular while it was on trial, topping the list of its most popular sandwiches in just a short space of time.

“Dunkin’ is the brand that democratises trends for America, and this latest addition to our menu gives consumers more choice to meet their evolving needs,” said Dave Hoffman, CEO.

While the Beyond Sausage Sandwich does not contain meat, it still has cheese and egg, making it unsuitable for vegan consumers.
