Electrolux Professional Group has announced that it has expanded its popular Randell line of drop-in wells to help foodservice professionals maximise valuable space while catering to a variety of menu offerings.

Randell’s new HCI-Switchable Combination Food Wells deliver the next generation of drop-in technology for kitchen operations that require the flexibility of both hot and cold holding.

“Our objective was to create versatile combination well units tailored to contemporary market demands,” said Dave Rademacher, Product Line Manager for Randell.

“Adhering to the Randell standard, these high-performance units ensure safe temperature holding and food quality preservation.”

The HCI Series comes equipped with several standard features and benefits, including individual Well Control, which provides ultimate flexibility, allowing wells to be set for holding product hot, cold or frozen, in any combination.

Hot mode can operate as a wet or dry operation, with optional manifolded drains.

It also includes simple, intuitive controls with a three-position switch for quick mode changes, temperature set-points are maintained when switching between modes or turning wells off, easy visual identification, with red indicators for hot and blue indicators for cold, exclusive multi-position pan ledge technology allows pans to be angled, flush to the top, 1” recessed, or 2” recessed, durable stainless-steel top and well construction, exclusive easy mount system, and included inter-locking adapter bars.

“Our design philosophy was centred on integrating intuitive technology for ease of use with standardised features, making the units adaptable to enhance operational agility,” said Rademacher.
