DoorDash On its Way to New Zealand

DoorDash U.S.A

Launching in New Zealand as early as next month, US food-delivery service DoorDash is set to shake up third-party delivery.

It has been reported that DoorDash is actively recruiting staff on LinkedIn and that the brand aims to offer restaurants and food suppliers a channel significantly cheaper than existing food-delivery services, such as UberEats, Menulog and local company Delivereasy.

LinkedIn advertising includes the phrase “Every corner of New Zealand has a local favourite; this role will help us win at the hyperlocal level.”

The company launched in Australia in 2019 where it claims to have 40,000 local delivery drivers serving 85 per cent of the country’s population.
