Informa Markets has announced that the 2020 edition of FHA-HoReCa, one of the world’s leading events serving the foodservice & hospitality industry, will be cancelled given the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic being felt throughout the global hospitality and tourism industries. The event will resume in May 2022 at the Singapore Expo.
“It is heartening to see positive signs that recovery has started in some domestic markets, however, it will be a while longer before a full rebound of the international hospitality and tourism sectors can materialise. The decision to cancel was a tough one to make, but without suitable tenancy availability in the correct time period for the industry, this is very much the right one taken in the best interest of our attendees,” Informa Markets said in a statement.
