A TASTE OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA

South Australia’s artisan producers, local gin, wine and craft brewers will be on show at a new pop-up at Mr Tom’s on Auckland’s Ponsonby Road from 7 – 9 September.

The ‘South Australian Pop Up Cellar Door’ will take Kiwis on a sensory trip around the state with gin distilled on Kangaroo Island, craft beer from McLaren Vale and wine produced in the Barossa Valley, along with a taste of the fantastic local produce on offer.

Stacey Kerr, Regional Manager, South Australian Tourism Commission said the pop-up is set to give Kiwis an authentic taste of the State and for them to discover the many hidden gems in South Australia.

"South Australia is renowned for its boutique, artisan and handcrafted food and drink,” she said. “We’re excited to be giving Kiwis the opportunity to sample everything from big-name wines right through to the up and coming secret treasures the State has to offer. From the iconic Jacob's Creek, to small-batch gin distilled with Juniper foraged from the wild coast of Kangaroo Island and everything in between.”

The South Australian Cellar Door coincides with MasterChef Australia’s ‘South Australia Week’, which airs on TVNZ One from 15 August.
