Rural Queensland has welcomed its latest Zarraffa's outlet, located in the remote township of Ayr, far north in the state.
The latest addition to our network represents more than just a new location, it reflects the company’s deep commitment to reaching regional and rural communities, while ensuring consistent access to quality coffee and customer service.
“As a proudly Australian-owned and operated brand, we’re passionate about extending the Zarraffa’s experience to more coffee-loving communities and Australians, wherever they may be,” said Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, Marnie Sheldon.
“Ayr is the perfect example of a vibrant rural community that is primed for the same high-quality products and service you would find in metropolitan locations. We’re thrilled to be setting up shop in this region.”
The Ayr site will be the eleventh established location set to open as one of the latest iterations of our innovative drive thru model, which has been thoughtfully designed with a more compact footprint to traditional stores.
Originally developed in 2023, the model has evolved and grown in popularity across the network, accounting for over 10 percent of our national footprint and growing, making it ideal for regional expansion and high-traffic sites.
“This evolution of our drive thru model is purpose-driven. It’s about meeting customers where they are, offering greater speed, convenience and access to quality coffee without compromising on the Zarraffa’s experience,” Marnie said.
“The refined model supports our continued growth plans into untapped and untraditional locations, including regional towns like Ayr. It allows us to be nimbler with site selection and operate with a smaller footprint while delivering the full menu and exceptional service our customers know and love.”
This site will offer more efficiency and accessibility for commuters and locals alike, predominantly servicing grab-and-go customers through the drive thru, while also featuring a walk-up window and outdoor seating area for those who prefer to take some time out to relax and enjoy their coffee.
Featuring our renowned range of signature coffee drinks, along with a selection of delicious food options, including the brand’s new freshly baked in-store range, breakfast items, and savoury snacks to complement the coffee experience.
