Bellagio Las Vegas held what is thought to be the first ever hangi held in the resort town, as part of Virtuoso Travel Week. The dinner, developed by Auckland tourism, was put on for 100 Virtuoso Network travel agents to showcase New Zealand and Maori culture with the ultimate goal of helping them sell a holiday to New Zealand to their client base of travellers. ATEED flew in hangi master Rewi Spraggon to prepare the meal.
