NEW ZEALAND | TurboChef and Middleby Australia have officially announced a new distribution partner strategy for both Australia and New Zealand.
In an effort to scale within these countries and grow sales, Stoddart will now sell and service the TurboChef Brand alongside its sister company, CookTek.
TurboChef Technologies, Inc. and Middleby Australia have officially announced that effective September 1, 2024, for Australia and October 1, 2024, for New Zealand, Stoddart will be the sole distributor for the TurboChef brand of rapid cook ovens. Stoddart currently sells and distributes products from TurboChef’s sister company, CookTek, in its respective regions, including Australia and New Zealand.
Both companies agree that aligning with the same sales team responsible for CookTek will support the growth of the TurboChef business.
“After reviewing Stoddart’s resources and growth plan, it makes perfect sense to align ourselves with their team and transfer the business roles,” said George Koether, Group President of Middleby Asia.
Stoddart has a proven track record for growing the Middleby brands in their countries of representation. TurboChef, Middleby Australia, and Stoddart will work together to ensure a seamless transition for customers.
“Middleby Australia has been a successful partner for TurboChef. Looking at the future state of the company, we couldn’t be more excited to take this next step with Stoddart as we expand our presence in Australia and New Zealand and create a turnkey solution with both TurboChef and CookTek combined for current and future customers alike,” stated Katie Cox, President of TurboChef and CookTek.
The Stoddart team will continue to be managed by TurboChef and CookTek International Sales Manager, Doug Scully, based in Brisbane. The teams will work closely to develop a go-to-market plan to launch in September 2024.
