Sunday the 12th of May saw seven culinary students from the Hawke’s Bay region competing for their spot in the National Secondary Schools Culinary Competition (NSSCC) grand final. The NSSCC grand final will be held in Auckland on the 3rd of September.
Sophie Downing from Napier Girls High School was crowned the regional winner for Hawke’s Bay. From here, each regional winner will collaborate with a fellow school mate to form a team of two and compete in the grand final.
