Subway have launched a limited-edition, festive season cookie in a fan favourite flavour just in time for the holidays.
’Tis the season for Subway restaurants to sprinkle extra festive cheer with the release of a brand-new, limited-time-only cookie guaranteed to make mouths water.
Topping everyone’s wish list this year is the new Salted Caramel Cookie, a buttery treat with generous chunks of soft, chewy caramel with a salted twist.
Available in Subway restaurants throughout New Zealand, the cookie has a melt-in-your-mouth centre and crisp edges, with each bite delivering a perfectly balanced mix of sweet and salty.
But why wait until the holidays to enjoy the sweet-and-salty treat?
It’s World Cookie Day on Thursday, 4 December, and to celebrate, each Subway restaurant in New Zealand is giving away collector’s item cookie tins to those who buy 3 x 6 packs of cookies or more.
Subway Director of Marketing for Australia and New Zealand, Rodica Titeica, said the limited-time-only cookie was a fun and festive treat.
“Salted caramel is a modern classic, a complex, layered flavour that is the perfect match for our iconic cookies,” Titeica said.
“Subway may be known for its subs, but our cookies continue to win millions of hearts – and mouths, with about two cookies sold for every person in Australia and New Zealand each year.
“Our Salted Caramel Cookie represents great value too, so you can leave one out for Santa and enjoy one yourself.”
The Salted Caramel Cookie is available now until sold out at participating Subway restaurants. White Chip Macadamia Nut Cookie contains tree nuts and all cookies may contain traces of tree nuts and peanuts.
