Subway has just announced that its popular SubDog is BACK for a limited time, available until the 7th of October.
This year, Subway has levelled up with three mouthwatering Loaded SubDog menu items, including the Original Loaded Subdog with melty mozzarella cheese, fiery jalapenos, tomato sauce and tangy mustard; The Mexican Loaded Subdog with Doritos Cheese Supreme Corn Chips, jalapenos, Mexican salsa, capsicum, red onion and avocado; and the BBQ Bacon Loaded Subdog with smoky bacon, red onion and BBQ sauce.
Director of Marketing for Subway Australia and New Zealand, Rodica Titeica, said the Loaded SubDog range came from listening to guests’ cravings and pushing the boundaries of flavour.
“When we brought back the Original SubDog last year, we were blown away by the response. It showed us that Kiwis are truly excited about bold, new flavour combinations,” she said.
“This year we’re taking the SubDog to a whole new level, loading it with some of New Zealand’s favourite flavour combinations, while staying true to what made it such a fan favourite in the first place.”
In addition to the three winning flavour combinations, Subway stays true to its roots as the home of customisation; guests are invited to load up their SubDog with any combination they like.
The Loaded SubDog range is available in both Subway Six-inch and Subway Footlong sub sizes, in-restaurant and online.
Last month, Subway launched its 60th anniversary celebrations and undertook a nationwide search to find its biggest fan and reward them with free Subway for a decade.
“Subway’s heritage is deeply rooted in more than just sandwiches - it’s always been about the people; the loyal lunch break regulars, the cookie lovers, the Sandwich Artists, and the Subway fans,” Titeica said.
“We want to turn the spotlight on the legends who’ve loved us through every bite by celebrating the passion and personality they bring to the iconic Subway Footlong sub. Through #Fanversary, we’re giving every fan permission to share the beautiful, bold, and even downright brazen ways they express their love for Subway.”
