Soul Burger Releases Plant-based Meatball Sub

Soul Burger has unveiled a new plant-based meatball sub-range, which is part of its new $10 Temptation value deal, which will also feature on the burger or sub of the day menu for only $10 as well.

The new range will feature three flavours ranging from sweet onion and pepper, Banh-Mi sub, and the base Sub-Me. The meatballs are marinated overnight, then paired with different fillings to create a unique food experience.

Soul Burger CEO and founder, Amit Tewari, said that the new deal is the burger chain’s answer to the various rising costs within the industry, which has seen selected menu items surge in price across Australia.

“Like almost every quick service restaurant group, COVID changed how our customers ordered. We went from doing a small amount of delivery to a massive amount of delivery. And delivery is really expensive, especially when it’s done through the 3rd party groups and not directly through our app. Our $10 temptations offer is about driving customers back in store and rewarding them with amazing deals they’ll struggle to get anywhere else in Sydney,” said Tewari.

The deal is only available to customers who are dining in, which is a move that Soul Burger said was in part to drive customer traffic back into its restaurants.
