Shaquille O’Neal opens restaurant in Los Angeles

Hall of Fame basketball player and former LA Lakers star Shaquille O’Neal has opened his first LA restaurant. “Shaquille’s” is situated in Downtown Los Angeles and promotes “southern hospitality with modern flair.” The menu is extensive and ranges from meals such as the Shaq cheeseburger and the Kobe burger to pan-roasted salmon, shrimp ceviche and flat-iron steak.

The bar at Shaq’s new restaurant serves a range of exclusively Southern Californian beers on tap and a variety of classic and modern cocktails. There is also an expansive wine menu covering many wine-making regions.

In recent times, Shaq’s business ventures have been extending far beyond basketball. He already opened a Big Chicken restaurant in Las Vegas last October.
