ONE-MAN ARMY

Wellington’s Fork Brewcorp, known for its brewpub Fork & Brewer, has won the title of champion small brewery at this year’s New Zealand Brewers Guild Awards. This is the second year in a row that head and only brewer Kelly Ryan has taken out the award, a monumental achievement considering there were 951 entries into the awards this year.

This is the thirteenth iteration of the event and was attended by over 500 people involved in the beer industry.

Fork & Brewer has 42 taps, of which Ryan makes 41 of them.

Lion Breweries took out the title of champion large brewery, also for the second year in a row.
