Nutritionist Jessica Sepel has revealed the healthiest way to consume coffee. “Consuming too much caffeine can cause a rise in cortisol and adrenaline, which can cause all kinds of hormonal issues, in addition to weight gain around the midsection,” said Sepel.
The Nutritionist recommends drinking one cup of coffee per day before 10 am. Drinking a coffee in the afternoon can have negative effects on the body, disrupting sleeping patterns and prompting sugar cravings.
