Subway has opened the doors to its latest New Zealand next-generation restaurant located outside of Taupiri, on State Highway 1.
The restaurant is the first of its kind in the area, inviting Waikato locals, commuters, and Kiwi travellers to enjoy their freshly made Subway favourites while experiencing a modern dining experience with bright décor, curated music and comfortable seating.
Located at the new Taupiri Service Centre, the restaurant is set to service the mass commuters who travel the busy national highway each day.
Subway New Zealand Country Director Geoff Cockerill noted that the location is perfect for busy Kiwis who are looking for healthy food while on the run - without having to compromise on taste.
“We’re proud to be serving up fresh, nutritious food at the Taupiri service centre. Convenient dining options have previously been limited along the highway – so we’re proud to be playing a role in making many New Zealanders daily commutes and travel plans a little bit easier when choosing where to eat,” commented Cockerill.
The next-generation restaurant is part of Subway’s continued efforts to transform every aspect of the guest experience across New Zealand restaurants in 2021, with 10 next-generation restaurant renovations scheduled over the next two months.
“We’re very proud to have expanded our restaurants across New Zealand, with Subway Taupiri committed to offering our busy guests a fresh experience, whether with dine-in, takeaway or online ordering. If you haven’t been to Subway recently, there’s no better time to visit,” said Cockerill.
Subway Taupiri is open for business seven days a week, from 7:00am till 9:30pm. Guests will also be able to order their favourite subs, salads, wraps and cookies through the Subway app for even greater convenience when on the run.
