Celebrity chef and restaurateur, Josh Emett has announced the opening of new restaurant, Onslow in central Auckland. Emett posted to Instagram that the restaurant will be his first start-from-scratch, sole venture with his wife Helen.
Described as a landmark Auckland address, steeped in history, Onslow will be on the entry-level of the new International Building on Princes Street in the Auckland CBD.
“Onslow references the Old World but is decidedly modern; a sophisticated yet relaxed restaurant that celebrates New Zealand’s exceptional provenance,” said Emmet on Instagram.
The announcement comes just months after Emett and business partner Fleur Caulton announced the permanent closure of their Madam Woo restaurant in Christchurch post-lockdown.
