MISSION ESTATE TAKES SUSTAINABLE APPROACH TO CONCERT

Working in close consultation with the New Zealand Police, Mission Estate created a uniquely design PET wine bottle for the Dixie Chicks concert on 8th April. The 750ml bottle was designed to be shatterproof while also retaining the quality of the wine by preventing ambient oxygen from reaching the wine.

“This initiative is a win-win for all parties as there is a focus on ensuring concertgoers’ safety and comfort,” said Mission Estate chief executive Peter Holley.

PET produces less greenhouse gas emissions and uses less solid waste per glass and is 100% recyclable.
