In celebration of Marvel Studios’ release of the Black Panther sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, McDonald’s has released a Black Panther themed Happy Meal.
The meal includes one of ten “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” superhero toys based on the movie’s characters, such as Okoye, Shuri and Ironheart.
The highly-anticipated “Wakanda Forever”, directed by Ryan Coogler, follows the T’Challa’s family and friends as they are met with a dangerous new enemy. It stars actors like Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan and Angela Bassett.
Jennifer Healan, Vice President of Marketing, Brand Content and Engagement at McDonald’s stated that the first “Black Panther” film pioneered a new standard of representation on the big screen. McDonald’s wishes to bring the same experience to its restaurants.
McDonald’s “Black Panther” Happy Meals are available for a limited time and only at participating restaurants in the United States.
