Reefton Distilling Co. has announced a refreshed look for its popular Little Biddy range with a modern, native botanical touch.
Just six years on from opening its doors and launching its very first batch of Little Biddy Gin - Classic, Reefton Distilling Co. has unveiled a fresh new look for its iconic Little Biddy range of premium distilled spirits.
Nestled within Victoria Forest Park, which comprises over 2000 square kilometres of indigenous forests, Little Biddy Gin is vapour infused with botanicals, foraged directly from the Reefton rainforest.
This iconic New Zealand brand has reimagined its original look, delivering the same great taste in a new bespoke bottle embossed with a stylised botanical pattern symbolising its distillery’s rainforest location.
Reefton Distilling Co. Founder and Chief Executive Patsy Bass shared how their Reefton location provides everything that the distillery needs to create their premium award-winning gins, vodka, and liqueurs, with native forests full of botanicals, and some of the purest water on earth in abundance.
“Living and working in this stunningly beautiful, pristine environment, actively reducing our demand on the planet was something that we wanted to enshrine into our operating model from the very beginning,” said Bass.
“As a B Corp-certified business, environmental impact is always top of mind, and this lighter glass bottle is produced closer to the distillery than our original bottle, is more efficient to ship and has smaller labels, all reducing our impact on the planet.”
The new look Little Biddy bottle, which will roll out from next month, also provides a distinct and more contemporary look for hospitality and retail outlets and the home bar. The slimmer, lighter glass bottle is easier to hold and pour from.
Little Biddy Gin – Classic will now be in a green glass bottle evocative of the verdant New Zealand rainforest, while other main SKUs in the range, including Little Biddy Gin - Pink, and Spiced Apple, will move to a clear glass bottle. The embossed exterior of each bottle also adds another sensory dimension to the Little Biddy experience.
