Lavender Hill, a sustainable lifestyle farm located 30 minutes from Auckland’s city centre, has welcomed a significant addition to its craft distillery operation – Little Lottie, a 150-litre commercial gin still.
Lavender Hill is known for producing award-winning gins over the years, including Lavender Infused Gin, Smoked Honey Gin, Sloe Gin, Sloe Gin and Saffron Infused Gin. Their commitment extends beyond great taste as they are passionate about showcasing how the ingredients grown on the farm are transformed into their world-class products.
“Lavender Hill is a unique destination where we offer visitors the opportunity to witness ‘farm-to-glass' in action,” said Jason Delamore, co-owner of Lavender Hill.
“We’re one of only a few gin distillers in Auckland providing this immersive experience, allowing guests to see the entire journey of our products, from our farm to the distiller and finally into their glasses. As part of a gin tour, guests can also discover the flavours, aromas and stories behind each of our gins and embark on a guided journey through the world of gin-making in our in our specially designed gin tasting room.”
Lavender Hill has dedicated itself to the handcrafting of quality spirits using key botanicals, including special ingredients sourced from the farm, alongside a steadfast commitment to sustainable practices.

Lavender Hill is fast gaining popularity as a must-see destination in Auckland, particularly during the summer when the lavender fields are in bloom. Mature olive trees and friendly alpacas add to the idyllic rural setting.
In addition to Little Lottie, the farm experience and the dedicated gin tasting room, Lavender Hill features a modern, standalone four-bedroom holiday accommodation for short stays – ideal for tourists, those attending local weddings in the Kumeu wine district or those wanting to escape the city’s hustle and bustle.
