Burger Burger will open its newest stores doors to the public on May 30th, this time in Mount Maunganui. The new 200 square meter store is a part of the recently developed Bayfair Shopping Centre.
Burger Burger started five years ago as a dream shared between Mimi Gilmour, a restaurateur, and executive chef, Adrian Chilton. Since then, Burger Burger’s juicy burgers, charred broccoli, fries, sides and shakes have spread themselves throughout Auckland, to Christchurch, and now the Mount.
Gilmour said that the new opening at the Mount has largely been influenced by the creative nature of the surrounding community. “The Burger Burger team has so many family and friends in the Mount, as well as in Tauranga and Papamoa. They’ve all shared stories of their idyllic lifestyle filled with sunshine, surfing, fishing, fashion, art and good people—so we just couldn’t stay away any longer. We wanted a slice of this heaven and its beautiful people.”
