Important Safety Notice for Hospitality

With the current isolation period please remember to action the following:

  • Isolate gas supply at the source (gas metre or gas bottle) and any other emergency shut-off valves to be shut off.
  • Isolate water supply.
  • Isolate power to equipment.

Before restarting equipment, Burns & Ferrall recommend the premises is ventilated for a few hours prior to turning gas back on.

Supporting Essential Services

As a supplier to essential services Burns & Ferrall has been allowed to keep core functions operational during the lockdown period, namely warehouse distribution and the service department.

Burns & Ferrall have activated its disaster recovery plan to enable access to its I.T and phone systems allowing all back office departments to work remotely from home. It has also been requested by supermarkets and District Health Boards to remain on call and able to dispatch products for essential services.

Delivery of Goods

From logistics, Burns & Ferrall will have limited staff on site to pick up and dispatch orders, ensuring products can reach customers as normally as possible.
