Family-dining chain IHOP named Jay Johns its new president yesterday. John has been senior vice-president of the organisation since 2017 and will take over from outgoing president Darren Rebelez on June 13th.
Jay Johns has been involved with IHOP since 2009, and has held numerous positions within the company. Johns' “knowledge of the business, solid relationships with our franchisees, and his strategic leadership over the years position him as the ideal candidate to lead IHOP into its next phase," said a spokesperson for the company.
Darren Rebelez is leaving IHOP to pursue another opportunity as chief executive officer. It is not yet clear what company has hired Rebelez.
