GIWC Top 20 | La Belle Angele Rosé 2020

La Belle Angele is the producer of two GIWC top 20 award-winning wines. From France, the label boasts the La Belle Angele Rosé 2020 and the La Belle Angele Gamay 2020

La Belle Angele wines are the embodiment of Angéle - the free spirit of the roaring twenties. She is carefree, mischievous, elegant and charismatic. The wines reflect her personality - expressive, fruity and luscious. The Rosé and Gamay are part of Angéle’s seven wine range, where there is a drink for every occasion.

La Belle Angele hopes to embody dancing the Charleston in short skirts, smoking like chimneys and fighting for women's rights. It hopes to have wine drinkers experience the golden age in the present - through a single glass.

The most unique aspect of the Rosé is that the Cinsault tempers the richness of the Grenache by giving freshness and tension.

The wine is light pink in colour, and expresses raspberry and strawberry scents. On the palate, it is well balanced, refreshing and fruit-forward.

Best paired with salads and Asian Cuisine, it can be served both with a meal or on its own.

La Belle’s Rosé is perfect for anyone who loves a glass of Rosé and is best drunk while young as it is still fresh and fruity. Grenache and Cinsault grapes are not commonly grown in New Zealand, so it is an exciting wine of different varieties for Kiwis to try.
