Drink Up to Clean Up

Good George Brewing lives by the motto "Be Good, Do Good." Actions speak louder than words, as they say, and Good George is acting on its motto with the release of its Be Good, Do Good Gin series in partnership with Sustainable Coastlines and Component.

The three partners have banded together to remove 180,000 litres, or 1,500 large supermarket trollies, of rubbish from the beaches of New Zealand's coastline.

Each month, Good George will release a new, limited-edition gin designed by Component, a local New Zealand artist, that showcases one of the marine animals affected by litter left behind by Kiwis.

Each gin release will be limited to 1,000 bottles, with $10 from every bottle going directly back to Sustainable Coastlines.

Sustainable Coastlines works with communities, volunteers and ambassadors to deliver coastal clean-up events, educational programmes, public awareness campaigns and riparian planting projects.
