DoorDash New Zealand has announced the launch of DashPass in Wellington and Christchurch.
DashPass is DoorDash’s membership programme which offers unlimited $0 delivery fees on eligible orders as well as members-only exclusive offers and items. A DashPass membership unlocks on-demand access to the best in your neighbourhood delivered for less.
DoorDash launched in New Zealand last year, kicking off in the foodie capital of the country, Wellington before expanding into Christchurch. The platform now offers on-demand delivery and pickup from a growing network of the best local restaurants and cafes across the cities.
DoorDash General Manager New Zealand, Australia and Canada, Rebecca Burrows said that DashPass marks another milestone for the company’s expansion plans in New Zealand.
“We’ve had a lot of local support in Wellington and Christchurch as we continue to grow and expand. And now with the launch of DashPass, Kiwis can have even better value and access to anything from their neighbourhoods on DoorDash,” said Burrows.
For $9.99 a month or $96 per annum, DashPass offers added convenience to DoorDash customers without sacrificing the selection, flexibility, and quality they crave. DashPass members can access exclusive offers from national brands including McDonald’s, Subway and Tank Juice, as well as Wellington and Christchurch favourites, including Fred’s Sandwiches, Gorilla Burger, 1154 Pastaria, Empire Chicken and Dumplings $2 Rice.
“On average, the membership pays for itself in under three orders, so it’s a really affordable way for DoorDash users to access some of their favourite local food and convenience items and get them delivered straight to their door,” said Burrows.
The membership is completely flexible, so customers have the option to cancel anytime.
