A New Zealand business passionate about connecting people to their environment through successful collaborations has announced a fundraising initiative.
Elemento, which offers custom method recycling bin solutions for small to medium sized businesses has set up a Give a Little page to help hospitality businesses.
The purpose of this Give a little page has two functions:
First, 80 percent of funds raised will go to host hospitality businesses that Elemento will sign up to its Elemento Bins Programme.
The money will be held in a legal trust account for two weeks after the businesses have signed up to Elemento Bins. This is to ensure that the businesses that have signed up to Elemento Bins can confirm that they will be continue to operate so that the money donated by the public is used by a business that is open and not one that is closed.
Second, 20 percent of funds raised will enable a purchase split of Compost Bins and Container Deposit Scheme Bins from New Zealand owned business called Method Recycling, designed and made in Whanganui.
There will be circa 1000 businesses who could sign up to receive a bin and join our programme.
“We believe and acknowledge the public does want to donate to businesses but want to know that their money is being used appropriately and going to genuine businesses with genuine need,” wrote Elemento on its website.
“We will publish on our website a full PDF list of businesses that receive funds and will confirm that all businesses will get the same amount, as the full amount is split evenly across them.”
